How I’m Letting Myself Be Seen—Softly, Slowly, and On My Terms
This is how I want to be seen.
This is how I want to present myself to the world—with my work, and with my brand.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been at war within myself, trying to figure out how I wanted to market my business, or even what I wanted my business to be about.
It’s been difficult and challenging.
After taking so many courses, listening to so many voices, and still feeling like nothing worked or felt true to who I was or what I wanted to do… I decided to change that.
Social media has become the default way to create, share, and market. But I’ve had major resistance to building my business there. To the point that it led to full-on analysis paralysis.
Which, in essence, meant… I never did anything.
So as I begin again in 2025, with a fresh start and a softer approach—here are a few ways I’m letting myself be seen: softly, slowly, and on my terms.
1. Creating My Website
After years of waiting, thinking I needed a professional (which I probably still do, honestly)—I finally created my website. I procrastinated so much on this that I didn’t think it would ever come to life.
But here it is. It’s here. (lol)
This is my cozy home base. My sanctuary.
A space for people to meet me, witness, learn, observe, and move at their own pace.
2. Starting My Email List
Like my blog, I never thought I could write. And if I did, I thought it had to be perfect.
But perfection is not the intention here. Nor is it the endpoint.
This email list is simply a place for me to send letters—intimate and personal. Real, without the pretense.
I’ve even created a soft 5-day series for reclaiming yourself series here .
If it moves you, you’re welcome to join and see what the email community feels like.
3. Using Pinterest as a Quiet Discovery Space
I’ve created a Pinterest account in hopes that someone, somewhere, searching for something they need, stumbles into my corner of the world.
I don’t know much about Pinterest.
But that’s okay, because I’ll learn. And you’ll see that learning unfold.
Through this space, I plan to share journal prompts, visuals, reflections, and more.

4. Hosting My Podcast: The Belle âme Garden
“Belle âme” means beautiful soul. And that’s the energy I try to carry through this podcast.
I love sharing stories, voice notes, reflections, and little observations from my day-to-day life. I also just love to talk—so this feels like the perfect medium for me to connect and ramble (in a good way).
If you ever want to hear what’s on my heart, that’s where you’ll find me. The Belle âme Garden Podcast
5. Experimenting with YouTube Shorts + Community
This may or may not stick, but I’m giving it a try.
I find myself scrolling through Shorts and finding the exact thing I needed in the moment, so I’m hoping to create something similar. Small reflections, journal thoughts, quiet ideas shared with whoever needs them.
No pressure. Just play. The Belle âme Garden
6. Optional: Using Substack Notes
Kind of like YouTube Shorts—but in writing.
This will be a space for little bite-sized reflections that don’t need to become full blog posts.
If I feel like saying something short and soft, it’ll probably end up there. TBH I am there for the notes lol.
Alicia’s Substack
So yeah… this is where I’m starting. This is how I’m choosing to be seen.
Do I know if it’ll work out?
Nope.
Not a clue.
But I’m more excited about the path I’m heading down now than I ever was in the beginning.
Thank you for being here.
And wish me luck 💌
